Weather guarantee
Paragliding is an extremely weather-dependent sport and although we try to choose weather-safe destinations, flying during certain days of the camp cannot be carried out safely. This is not something we guarantee or compensate for, but we use these days for theory lessons or other activities based on the group's wishes. Depending on these wishes, costs may be added which, after agreement, will be charged to the participants.
Pilot responsibility
It is the pilot's responsibility to meet health and medical requirements, as well as the documents and certificates required to attend the training camp, and if the pilot is denied travel for these reasons, he or she will not receive a refund and will be responsible for any additional costs that may arise.
It is the pilot's responsibility to have the correct license/permissions and valid insurance for paragliding in the country and the conditions we will be flying in. A third party insurance covering 1.500.000 EUR is a requirement.
The pilot is responsible for ensuring that his flight equipment is in good condition and that it is checked according to applicable regulations, and that he has a working radio and instruments, as well as a first aid kit, the right clothing and shoes.
Schooling
PBB Paragliding follows the Swedish Paragliding Association's Operations Manual and Training Manual when conducting education and training.
Guiding and coaching
When guiding and coaching, we set tasks based on the pilot's license level and reported experience, but it is the pilot's responsibility to know his level and limitations. The pilot is responsible for the decisions he makes during his flight.
Briefing and debriefing
Reviews that are conducted daily as part of the pilot's development and to set goals for the coming days.
Program
Depending on the weather, the final program for each day is determined in connection with the briefing during the gathering in the morning or at the earliest the evening before.
