Camp Bassano 2025

With the Dolomites in the north and the Venice flats in the south, Monte Grappa offers fabulous potential for paragliding and XC-flying.

Camp Bassano is a paragliding camp for pilots aiming to develop their thermal- and XC-flying. The camp is for pilots with good skills in mountain take off, thermal flying and some experience from cross country flying. If you have made some kilometres XC flying it's a plus.

Our base is in the village of Semonzo del Grappa and we are two instructors with a group of maximum seven pilots.

We set daily tasks depending on the day and the experience level of the pilots in the group as well as daily briefing and debriefing.

Camp Bassano 2025 is a three week camp and you are welcome to join us one of the weeks, two of the weeks or all three.

Daily schedule:

• Saturday morning - arrivals
• Saturday afternoon - check in, welcome information and maybe an afternoon flight
• Sunday - Friday - flying-flying-flying
• Saturday - breakfast and transfer to the airport

What's included?

• Instructor and guiding fee plus transports and retrieve.

What's not included?

• Flight to Venice airport (Marco Polo) where we will meet you with the bus.
• Important about flight schedule - to meet the bus transfer we need you to arrive before 11:00 the arrival date and depart after 14:00 the day you travel home. If you choose other flight schedule, there is quite easy to get from the airport to Bassano by train and bus.
• Transfer - if your flights arrives and departure within the time frames mentioned above the transfer in our bus is free. If you chose other arrival and departure time, you have to arrange transports yourselves.
• Accommodation - we can help you to book a share in a double room at Klaudia BnB for 35 EUR/night and you pay directly to the BnB during your stay. Breakfast is  made by the guides and we use to collect 5 EUR/day for covering the cost. If you want to find your own accommodation, there are many options at Vivere il Grappa, ´´´´´´´´where you also buy the FlyCard which is mandatory for flying in the area.
• Meals - prepare snacks or sandwiches for lunch. In the evening we take you to restaurants and great Italian meals. If you want to make your own dinner, feel free to use the kitchen at Klaudias BnB.

Eventual extra costs

If we get the possibility and the group want to make a day trip to other flying sites (Dolomites, Lake Garde, Tolmin, etc) we share the extra costs for fuel, local guide, etc. Local costs (flycard, lift, etc) is paid individually at site.

Price: 8 600 SEK per person and week, incl. VAT
